Whether you're fighting with your devices or looking for a reliable lifeline for your parents
We'll handle the tech, so you can just be family again.
Meet AskSOUP:
The Gentler Hotline.

24/7 support. We are there the moment the phone acts up. Every time.

Built-in guardrails against scams, and clear rules about the personal information we will never ask for.

With consent, caregivers can get updates or step into a session to help resolve complex issues faster.

A promise from the founders.

What does AskSOUP actually do?
We're a patient friend on call when something on your phone, computer, or tablet stops working. Forgot a password. Wi-Fi dropped. App won't open. Printer ignoring you. You text us, we walk you through the fix one small step at a time — no jargon, no rushing, no judgment. We solve the problem; we don't try to teach you technology.
Who is this for?
Two kinds of people, really. Adults 65+ who'd rather not call their kids every time something glitches. And the adult children who love their parents but can't be on call 24/7. If either of those sounds familiar, the pilot is for you.
How much does the pilot cost?
The pilot is free. We're learning what works and what doesn't, and the people who help us figure that out shouldn't have to pay for the privilege. Down the line we'll have paid plans, but pilot users will always get a thank-you for being early.
Is it safe? What about scams and passwords?
Safety is the thing we obsess over. We never ask for your passwords, banking info, or Social Security number to fix a problem — full stop. If anyone claiming to be from AskSOUP ever asks for those, it isn't us. We're also built to spot scam patterns and flag suspicious messages before they cause harm.
Do my kids (or parents) have to be involved?
Only if you want them to be. AskSOUP works perfectly well one-on-one. But if a problem gets stuck, you can choose to loop in a family member with one tap — they get a short summary, not your whole conversation. Your business stays your business.
What happens after I sign up?
You'll get a welcome text from us within a few days with a phone number to save and a quick "what's your device" question. After that, anytime something breaks, you text. That's the whole onboarding. No app to download, no account to set up, no tutorial to sit through.
